When you first decide to have a baby is really exciting. Lots of sex and lots of hope. Very fun, very entertaining. Fast forward to three months later, when nothing is happening, and you go to an OB/GYN who diagnoses you with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), finally explaining years and years of irregular periods.
Fast forward to another 7 months, where after a few water pills (what the hell are those?) you are still not pregnant and not having periods. So you decide to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist, RE from now on, a specialty that you didn’t even know existed.
A few more tests and your PCOS diagnose is confirmed and they come on with a plan. Fast forward to the present, when after 2 cycles of Letrozole (is that even a name?), you are still not pregnant.
And here I am, learning a bunch of new terms and hormones, and wishing, praying, hoping.
Welcome to my journey.
